For every bee there is a flower, and both a giving and a taking. And flowers love all bees and bees love all flowers, just as we ought to love all trees or all blades of grass.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consciousness begins as qualia shared between individuals. It grows to love as it expands beyond individual landscapes to the whole niche, then to ecosystems. Knowing becomes compassion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, a question: does the wood wide web have a multi-consciousness or is it one fungi? Ideally one, but the \u201creality\u201d is many. Just like the mind and its neurons (or, dare I suggest, a molecule and its atoms!)
