The landmarks are surface, while the pathways hints at something else: the purpose of our particular journey at that moment<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If our landmarks are similar to the more superficial qualia which our senses sense, then our pathways are similar to the <em>mind&#8217;s interpretation<\/em> of the same qualia.<\/p>\n<p>It is the pathways which inform our landscapes and make a greater whole out of them; thus we can, if we put our minds (and hearts) to the task, we can see beyond ourselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each of us is at the center of our landscape &#8211; all our landmarks and pathways lead us back to ourselves.
