Alas, the reason we don\u2019t make the most of these lessons is that we are interested in qualia only insofar as it leads us to matter. For instance, the scientific method is a conscious ritual, but it is used, primarily, to increase material wealth. The vast majority of technology does not serve us (in fact, it enslaves us).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lesson is to consciously ritual with qualia for qualia\u2019s sake, for theory\u2019s sake, for science\u2019 sake, for art\u2019s sake, for contentment\u2019s sake\u2026for ecosystems\u2019 sake!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take care of ecosystems and they will take care of us. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The human landscape, from planned obsolescence to science, from the arts to spirituality, is full of lessons on how to ritual consciously.
