Human, Too.&nbsp;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"p1 wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve noticed something very interesting about our four(!) cats. As they have grown older, the killer instinct, the anticipatory twitching, crouching, claw-flexing, and teeth chattering bloodthirstiness is subsiding.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">They seem to have become more interested in pestering each other than in killing innocent little yard creatures. It is as if they now find participating in inter-personal kitty chess games more entertaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">Let me add, that these are not the games a kitten plays (we have one of those too) as she learns how to be a cat by bothering the older ones. Nor is it the somewhat tolerant response of the older ones whom our cute kitten is annoying. No, this later, aging kitty psychology is something kind of ugly, kind of human.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2 wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, maybe I\u2019m just projecting. Could be. Could also be that, for over a decade, my cats have been eating industrially produced cat food.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve noticed something very interesting about our four(!) cats.
