Community

If you seek community, then know this:

Consciousness is fundamentally the sense of belonging.

Even matter has consciousness: consider a melting snowflake, at the last moment, an individual molecule of water grasps before letting go.

Qualia binds us all in community just like that water molecule.

And Qualiadelic Relationships are the source of all this belonging, of all consciousness.

I’ll explain.

Qualiadelic relationships reach back to the beginning of life on Earth (if not all the way back to the beginning of the universe).

When our senses perceive a tree we are connected with all the creatures that evolved together to make it appear as a tree. This has major implications for “reality” as we “know”it. We don’t generally think of reality this way, but nothing actually exists independently of anything else.

A simple analogy is a mere, human work: a fence. A fence wouldn’t exist without a tree, someone to cut it down, someone to turn it into boards, sell it, and build it, and so on.

So all things, living and dead, are interconnected and interdependent – nothing exists alone because everything has evolved together, via qualiadelic relationships, in ecosystems.

So, if you seek community, then know: you will find your community, first, foremost, and most deeply, in ecosystems.
