The human landscape runs on Big Dopamine – our economy is not founded on gold, nor faith, but on addiction; more is never enough.
The rest of the beings on the planet can become addicted, but they don’t, because ecosystems don’t operate that way.
There may be seasons of plenty and seasons of lack, but most of the time there is contentment.
Most beings, unlike us, are still in touch with Little Dopamine – just watch a squirrel or a tree — they are filled with wonder at the beauty of the landscape.
We need to let go our addictive landscape and get back in touch with Little Dopamine, too.
Focus on qualia, and consciously ritual to rediscover harmony with ecosystems.
