In nature, death can often be a profoundly beautiful process. Take the butterfly, for instance. The butterfly represents the final stage of its growth and transformation—a stage that is, in essence, a form of dying. Yet, it is in this very stage that its beauty is most striking.
From our perspective, dying is often seen as a harsh process of growing old and frail. But there was a time when we revered our elders, valuing them for their wisdom, memories, and the stories they carried. They were seen as beautiful, integral parts of the human experience.
Today, however, the human landscape has shifted. With the rise of addiction and an increasing obsession with youth, society has grown to exclude and even harbor prejudice against elders, sidelining their importance and the richness they bring to our lives.
