In the 1960’s, the Weather Underground was a set of sublime signs (black people with guns) that triggered in white people without enough imagination to see beyond their fear. The same signs became beautiful symbols in the minds of other people because they inspired hope.

But the weather underground was, and still is, a pun on whether or not to go underground to promote the ideal of freedom.

Reality on our little planet today has become a struggle between people who feel they are losing status and people who wish to gain it. Unfortunately, neither group matters much to the rich and powerful

The Whether Underground has to navigate with faith that ecosystems will reveal the qualia they need to overcome the addictive economic human landscape that holds all of us in thrall.

The seeds of freedom only blossom after germinating underground. The ultra rich keep their real lives hidden from the people. They already can’t see us. We are already underground, whether we choose it or not.
