As life and landscapes become more complex, so do the ecosystems which hold them together. It is the qualia we notice within (as opposed to the qualia our outward-facing senses follow), whether it be some pattern, consciousness, or ecosystem, which binds all of us together. The qualia within makes any matter, living creature or landscape, greater than the sum of its parts. The qualia within, consciousness, and ecosystems are really one and all the same. An earthly trinity.
