Love that Sings

Love is an aesthetic state of being. From moment to moment it is either in a state of growth or decay, either beautiful or sublime.

It is only unhealthy when the Qualia Quotient is all in extremes, when our Interest and Participation levels are too high or too low, love can be difficult, to say the least.

I’m certainly not recommending we not pursue love, only cautioning the dangers of feeling it either as too strong an emotion or not feeling at all. We ought not suppress it, but control it, perhaps as a singer strives to cultivate the breath.

Ideal love is matched in the middle, yet far-reaching. It is like two voices which can hold a note for a long time, mutually sharing a simple gift.
