The Currency of Exchange

An individual may be simple or complex, plain or baroque, traditional or modern, serious or playful, provincial or worldly, black and white or colorful etc. but must always be open and appreciative of other individuals’ inner landscapes – the landmarks and pathways of their thought – willing, if only briefly, to harmonize and play with them in the improvisational dance that ecosystems have choreographed.

The ability to express one’s appreciation of another’s unique perspective, either with words or art or just an encouraging remark (and, in return their appreciation of ours) can become the currency of exchange in a qualiadelic economy.
